Vintage Classic Safari Chair

Restored by Ellie Richards who is an artist at Penland. She added new natural leather that will patina tan over time. This chair was designed by Kaare Klint in 1933 to be functional and elegant for modern homes. He was inspired by a British officers chair that he had seen in a travel guide in Africa.
